Having no two parents and going to private school don’t mean you can’t be street

People in the hood have both parents at home and there parents send them to private school
But they stay in the hood so they do hood rat things
Living in the hood makes you poor not street… to be street is just that, outside with no guidance, figuring sh1t out in your own…. You cant choose to be street, it’s the hand that you’re dealt and we do our best to play it and not crap out… n1ggaz like Jada are pretenders …. Food in the fridge, nice home, nice clothes on your back, private school tuitions and yet he’s outside acting like hes a trapper/stepper by definition he's a spoiled brat who wants to be accepted by the hood n1ggaz but not actually apart of it the hood life!

Home is home

But when you walk outside the street is at your front door

This can't be surprising though. The way Kiss carried himself you could always tell n1gga had a real father figure around him. Dude been on some grown man sh1t since he hit the scene
It’s not a coincidence that the most level-headed, grounded, strategic rappers grew up in a 2-parent household or had their father in their lives (Jadakiss, Nas, Kendrick, Drake, etc) Meanwhile most of the fatherless ones acted….well, fatherless

Styles P's mother is from South Africa and was a cleaning lady when she first came to America. She is now a teacher for kids in group homes, specifically working with troubled youth, according to an interview with Billboard.

This

I had an older cousin that I looked up to a lot when k was young. Was slightly jealous of homie because of the crib in the burbs, 2 parent household, anything he ever wanted.
But as he got older, was in the streets waaaaaaaaay more than any of us was. To be honest I was a walking D.A.R.E commercial compared to him. So the notion that because you have a 2 parent household doesn’t mean sh1t. You decided your own life. Has nothing to do with what your family could provide for you.

Top five alive. The best from his era still doing it. I'm so glad he had a family to fall back on cause the streets don't love you. He got his dad he still alive. Tupac and Big didn't have their dad's and turned to the streets. Jada got a coffee company with his dad and son. I pray I can make it around the board a few more times to pass assets to my son. I got all girls might have to adopt. Getting up there. The streets hurt you as much a they help you. Life ain't fair, just be a square. 💪🏿♥️🙏🏿

I mean.. we still ain't talking about the Ghost & Silverback. Styles P makes it clear he's the hardest n1gga on the stoop.. & they follow this n1gga. New Yorkers should chime in this one cuz I know some places it don't matter. the hood around the corner anyway and you still got to make it.

Don't even get me started on Cali

n1ggas be having full front yards and palm trees you don't even know you just crossed the gun line in a 30 year gang war

Same sh1t here in the south. One of the most dangerous hoods in my city is full of decent looking houses all them n1ggas known for is gang banging and robbing

Drake a bad example but you right though

Even Hov was close to his pops until his uncle got killed and his pops left

Some documentary said his pops used to make him walk in front him and lead the whole family home

Just because you have two parents in the home, doesnt guarantee your life will be better. It may increase your chances a little bit. I know many people that had both parents in the house, but the parents were so focused on work, they really didnt teach their children much. They talked to their children about going to school, getting a good job, etc. The parents themselves didn’t have the tools to teach. So the children are left to figure it out themselves, through the streets, their peers, the music, etc.

Drake is a d1ckhead and a nerd, but he isn’t a complete crash out like other fatherless rappers, you can tell he had a male figure in his life.

Hov was forced to grow up quickly and be the man of the house due to his circumstances and he is again someone who has always moved strategically and doesn’t act irrationally and emotionally.
