theyve been negotiating back and forth about selling this unsold stock for a while...and whether adidas will just sell it under their brand (because they own all the creative ip of anything under the yeezy/adidas umbrella) or whether they would continue to sell it under the yeezy brand. also...there were questions as to whether kanye was entitled to the 15% royalty he receives if they sold it under either scenario.

there is no new partnership here tho and once the unsold stock is liquidated then thats it for yeezy/adidas.
