Tired of these shows where the blacks folk are always criminals. It's too many out. Empire, The Chi, Snowfall, This show, Power. I mean come on, where are the cold black shows like Seinfeld, Friends, s3x and the City, Cheers, etc. Not talking Tyler Perry shows or all the soft abc, nbc shows either. I'm talking primetime premium cable shows

The response is usually that the system of white supremacy has put obstacles in place where the people are forced to use their genius on the wrong side of the law but if the opportunity was available they could be successful ceo's or working in high finance. I understand what you mean where are the shows with predominantly black casts with excellent writing and jokes that don't rely on falling back on ignorant played out false stereotypes. I keep seeing a commercial for a comedy on cbs with cedric the entertainer and its still the old hey a non black couple or family move into a predominantly black and brown area and they are so different and learn from each other. It feels like that show has been done every year for the last 45 years of television. The really talented people must not be related the power players who can give them a shot at scripting original shows and movies so we get these related to the right people or sleeping with the right people content creators who are still telling jokes about having bad credit and eating unhealthy food three meals a day.

It's alright just abit disappointed with historical accuracy. Haven't mentioned madam st clair ( iirc).

Feeling like this show isn’t reaching its potential. It’s entertaining but it not getting to that next level of actually being good.
