I'm glad Joe can at least be honest and give actual critiques about it, not surprising seeing he's the only real artist up there and his pen was immaculate.

That said, the other co hosts and their initial opinions on it summarizes why I been stopped tuning in. Pod was much better and authentic before it became a gang of unneeded voices. Can't be mad, he making his money off this formula, just not off me.

n1ggas better re-listen to that Jay verse. He raps like its a conversation, he wasnt trying to catch the beat. He was talkin sh1t on the record and that made it feel more like an interlude.

Cardi's mistake was not dropping New York Fashion Week in a few weeks. It would have hit totally different. The problem with today's analysis is its never without some sort of bias. People havent listened to Jay-Z Imaginary Player in years but act like its some lyrical masterpiece.

The song was a not so serious diss song going at Mase and Cardi did the same thing mainly taking jabs at Nicki. Mission accomplished.

A good sales day for Cardi B isn’t a huge ask in 2025. Surely half the album will be her joints that already went crazy. Then you have the rabid response to her celebrity that will have people at least checking for her music.

200k not in pure sales is absolutely achievable because the industry will pad the release.
