Duncan
Ginobili
Tony Parker
Kawhi
parker a nobody kid from france that almost got traded in place of jason kidd because Pop didnt think he could run the offense
ginobili a 2nd round pick
kawhi a young prospect but not a lottery pick
Duncan was the only lottery pick
What pick they were is completely irrelevant
Man if yall are claiming the Spurs were a superteam are some of the dumbest fans ever
It definitely matters when they were drafted
You wont find a super team full of 2nd rounders... thats not even where the term came from
but its the internet... so yall will say the sky is purple just to be contrary or to try to protect lebrons image like he gives 10 flying pigs about yall
Dont you think the part where they see all HOFs is a bit more important than where they are drafted ? Its like you are trying to say they are scrubs since they werent high draft picks. Thats just dumb.
I dont care if anyone wants to call them a superteam or not, but that team could get with any team in NBA history. Ill stand by that.
Duncan
Ginobili
Tony Parker
Kawhi
Cant be a superteam when you drafted all the players. Gsw was a superteam because they added kd to an already bound Finals team. The heat were a superteam because 3 franchise players agreed to team up together.
They didn’t draft Kawhi
those are four hall of famers how is that not a super team it doesn’t matter if they were drafted by the same team
They had him from day one youre just arguing to argue

Tony Parker made 4 all NBA teams and n1ggas on here acting like he some sort of scrub talmbout "parker a nobody kid from france that almost got traded in place of jason kidd because Pop didnt think he could run the offense"....
That man was one of the best point guards of his generation wtf do y'all be talking about on here.
That Spurs team was favored in Vegas for a reason.
How do y'all come up with these dumbass arbitrary rules?

All super team rules are arbitrary... WTF? Lol... Please feel free to show me where the NBA or a basketball governing body officially defined the term super team?
You can't because it's a made up term by fans and media... Hence all definitions are by nature arbitrary...
If you consider the Spurs a Super team... Then every team with 1 All-Star and 1 All-NBA player is a super team by your definition... The 2014 Spurs had 1 all star and 1 All NBA player and they were the same person lol... So going forward any team with 1 All-NBA is a Super team... Got it... Thanks for enlightening us
Four 2nd team and below awards in 18 years is not great... That's just good... There is a reason he didn't make any of those teams until late in his career... And was never thought of for 1st team
It was more of a lifetime achievement and recognizing a good player on a team that wins... If the Spurs weren't winning 50+ games Parker had zero chance of making any all-NBA teams... Great players make All-NBA regardless of their teams records... Good players make it because their team has a great record
He has the same amount of All-NBA as Mark Price... And Price did that in 6 less years and actually made a 1st team as well... And y'all n1ggas never consider Price when talking about the greatest point guards
They were favored because they had home court advantage... Clearly your logic doesn't hold up as they weren't favored in 2013 lol...
If they were favored solely because of their team they wouldn't have been such a huge underdog in the 2013 finals playing the same exact team... They were underdogs in 2013 because they didn't have home court... Simple as that
Home court advantage wins majority of the time in the finals
