this is good for devs who have games way outside of their launch window. But if you're releasing a new game... it can be good or bad. It just depends.

Nah it’s a win games they put out that didn’t do well or get a decent look gets a new life on gamer pass they can use the the numbers to go back to studios to ask for money for a sequel or new game in general. Gamer pass in theory is no different than Netflix in its infancy a lot of B,C, and D list movies until it picked up enough steam to get recent and new movies released through its platform. Gamer pass is headed there with it getting a lot more day 1 releases. It’s obvious the devs see it as a win
