Shooter is a piece of sh1t
It wasn’t self defense

The father shouldn’t have approached dude with scissors (I think)

^^that reminds me of how bankroll fresh got killed. I think he had a fight with dude in studio, the dude left and then bankroll grabbed the AK and went outside and as soon as they saw fresh with the AK they shot him.

It took me a long time to realize this as I have been lucky I used to confront people always but it’s best to just not confront people unless you have no choice. You don’t know what they are capable of doing.

i watched the longer video, and the shooter seemed calm like he was waiting to talk but ready for the smoke if need be.

the dad comes racing out with no shirt, stops halfway, goes back in, then the lady comes out.

the lady comes out and starts arguing with the dude, and dad comes charging back out with scissors and gets in the dude's face.

The catch 22 here is the no audio.

clearly, something is said between the dad and the mom to make dude up his thang because he didn't pull it when dude got up in his face with the scissors.

the way dude finished them off, this was personal.

and mom is foul for shutting the door on her baby and her man to save herself...

This is is why I never seek quarrels with anyone unnecessarily. My first moto is to defuse an argument and talk it out amicably with anyone. When I was young, I used to have a short fuse and now at 42, I look back and think I was lucky not to have met a crazy person, who could have killed me in my many scraps with people.

Looking and acting tough is worthless because there is always that crazy person that's not willing to fight with hands. They will use any weapon and kill you in a blink of an eye.

I hear what you�re saying. Don�t make me feel like my life is in danger and walk away, like you just challenged my willingness and ability to defend myself. Even in a regular fight. Don�t change your tone when you realize you were antagonizing someone you can�t beat.

But what happened here is at best, a manslaughter charge without equal but opposite force. He escalated the violence with the weapon. But it does seem premeditated. He waited in the hallway, checked the position of his strap while the door was closed, and then the wife came out to chastise him in the hallway. Like others said, he was too calm. And he knows the victim was with his family and would hold back.

But either way, I feel what you�re saying. You gotta have pride in yourself as a man�I know the mentality. For me, though, I walk away every time. I got kids to be home with. I�ll let the other dude think I�m soft.

Here's the problem:

The shooter was standing still, where he was, at a safe distance just talking. No aggressive sh1t.

It's the dude that came out and jumped in his face on some rah rah sh1t that escalated the bullsh1t. He could've talked from a safe distance like men. But he had to come out on some aggressive sh1t.

I'm gonna keep it a buck: If you jump in a n1gga face to SAY what you gonna do, you might as well done DID it. Why pump fake? Why half step? If you pump fake like it's about to be bloody war, can't be surprised when it turns out to be bloody war.

I wouldn't have shot the dude but as soon as he turned his back I would've hit him with something.

A few things I noted here

The father was in the wrong first by threatening the neighbor with the scissors

Once the neighbor pulled the gun, the father should have immediately walked away which he did

The neighbor lost any reasoning of self defense the moment the father turned his back and walked away

The neighbor's coward a$s shot the father in the back, with a sight attached to the gun, which I know along with him having the gun outside of his home is illegal in NY

The step son does what most folks would do in a fight or flight situation and apparently either tries to subdue the shooter, or run away from him, and then was shot a few times by the neighbor, which also isn't self defense anymore due to the shooting of the father

This whole situation was avoidable and is fu#ked up. The older I've gotten, I've learned to never argue with people you don't know. You never know who is strapped, and unfortunately too many folks that are have no self control like this dumb fu#k.

The step son lost his life over some sh1t that 2 grown men started. I feel for him and his mama the most.

Someone retreating with a knife in a public space is not self defense. A gun would be different.
