As dominant as Shaq was and as dominant as Kobe was, I don't think it would've mattered.

They only got defeated by Detroit because of the ball-hogging Kobe was doing, same as when he did it with the twin towers, odom, artest etc.....When Kobe got his team involved and deferred a little they won..they had the best supporting cast in the league with the lakers.
