Maybe but Cuban's point is that if you want to tax corporations then you have to hit them where they'll actually perform.

Claiming that we shouldn't tax them because it will hurt their business success is pretty much the reason we've been letting corporations avoid the full brunt of their tax burden for decades.

People need to decide which one matters -- getting more tax revenue from multinational corporations or reducing corporate taxes.

This is how corporations have gradually reduced their tax burden. They just say "If you tax us, we'll lose business." and then everyone just folds and gives in. If Cuban is right then Trump has backdoored the bullsh1t in a way that might actually work.

I say "if" because I haven't really looked into the policy.
