Looking shaky for my Mets, but few more games left to see...

Mets bats have gone ice cold winker at the deadline wasn’t enough knew they should’ve continued to be sellers like the original plan was gonna be now they’re about to disappoint the fanbase yet again

Mets are done. I knew it when I saw that schedule at the end. Only way for them to be saved is by the Diamondbacks choking it away.

They just beat the Phillies 3/4 tho so I wouldn't blame schedule. And they lost 3 games in a row to other really good teams in places we've been sh1t at...losing 19 out of last 22 in Milwaukee is crazy... Not making excuses because we gotta find a way to win those games in those places, but it ain't exactly like when we had a complete sh1t August in 2022 and a mediocre September

Agreed with all except should've been sellers. They've had the best record in baseball for over a 100 game span...more than enough sample size that proves they're legit contenders who had a rough start. Same thing the Braves did in 2022...an even better run than braves couple years ago actually and no one (except me lol said they weren't as good...and that was just based on their .500 record against teams above .500). I admittedly haven't been watching them game by game until like August tho

now, Dbacks would have to root for a sweep...hoping Mets ain't on the other end of that with how bad we play in Atlanta...

I know whoever lose that first game is gonna be maaad nervous...and more susceptible to be swept...must win first game...and u know the winner of the first gonna try to step on the necks of the loser

yep, and in a way, I didn't mind if the Braves won because then they'd rest Sale for the doubleheader...not a great scenario for Mets if he gets to pitch
