Not even anything like this

This record features BJ is righteous tho but the first snoop verse sounds like it was supposed to be a back and forth verse, maybe that’s just me

Imma tap back n and listen thru today
Dre has gone through trademark sonic eras, usually marked by who he's working with at the time.
When he was working with Daz (91-95), it was heavy G-funk, with rolling basslines, whining synths, and funk samples.
When he was working with Bud'da and Glove (96-98), it's was all keyboards and heavy synths.
When he was working with Mel-Man and Scott Storch (99-03), it was minimalistic, smoky g-funk driven by keys and guitar licks.
When he was working with Elizondo and Batson (04-09), it was heavy pianos and loud snares.
Since he's teamed with The ICU (Parker, Lawrence, Dem Jointz, Focus, Fredwreck, Blu2th Griggs), it's maximalist live instrumentation. We've heard this trademark now since the "Compton" record, through the Anderson Paak and Marsha Ambrosius records, and now this. It's not my favorite Dre sound, but it's clear that it's the zone he's in now and it still sounds immaculate.
