the part that you bolded is why its probably a harder decision than just "lets shoot this while its hot". the fact that the track is a party record while also pointing out that kendrick believes bro is doing terrible things to minors is a weird vibe to navigate on the same song. may come off kinda weird after the dust settles.

but several legendary diss tracks have videos. i don't think it being a diss has anything to do with the decision. ice cube shot a video where the whole theme was his former group members getting r@ped without lubrication.
