I hear people say that.
But it’s nice to have someone that has all the facts and wisdom from being older that they can convey.
We already established OG’s as a whole aren’t doing their job. So a lot of these younger cats don’t understand the way things should operate as they don’t have the years behind them.
We already got a lot of sh1t to focus on in life. It’s nice that we can have people as shortcuts to let us know what’s up.
I don’t believe most of these people have our best interest in mind. They’re grifters/hustlers who prey on lame/gullible/disenfranchised men who are looking for direction. There are seeds of truth that we can find in their messages but they’re mostly selling dreams. Pandering to the desires of their audience to sell them courses, merch, and boost their content engagement. I find that most of them aren’t even speaking from experience, nor are they qualified to be called OGs.
For instance, JustPearlyThings is one of the prominent voices in the black red-pill manosphere who sells courses teaching women how to become wifeable. Sounds great in theory until you realize she’s a 26 year old white woman who’s only been in one relationship (never married) and was exposed for not living her raps. Then you have Andrew Tate disciples like Sneakeo, a recent convert to the red pill space with a cult following in his own right. He promotes much of the same philosophy as Andrew Tate and makes money from content engagement and selling lifestyle courses, etc and that’s fine, but the problem is……he’s 23 years old and his admitted life experience doesn’t match he preaches. I could keep going but I’ve noticed this trend in a lot of these personality cults that keep popping up.
