I don't know what to believe but I'll take note. I wish DeMayo wasn't such a damn weirdo and kept his name clean. He really did do an amazing job with Xmen97, and could've been the next 'Joss Whedon/James Gunn/Russos/Coogler' of that side of Marvel.

DeMayo laid out how the next live action Xmen SHOULD be, but with Feige hiring the Thunderbolts director to take the helm and casting a bunch of young actors, I can tell that hints of DeMayo's tweets could be true. Seems like Feige wants to do his HIS Xmen, even if it may not be the right Xmen. Im in "prove me wrong" mode now.

Don’t get me wrong. I liked some of the stuff they did but it felt restrained creatively.

X-men 97 carried the same attitude James Gunn did with Superman. You
May not know what and who all this is. But we will write the characters in a way to make you care. Look we could drag this out and make a sh1t ton of money long term.

Or we can explore our world a bit and give people reasons to give a fu#k about this sh1t for the rest of their lives.


If they did ANYTHING with Thanos, I would consider investing myself in it. His character is that strong creatively and narratively it’s an honest to god insult they went to kang. Which is even doubly fu#ked up cause they had a kang that captivated the audience and the said then said yeah but that’s a little too weird and out there and we need something more striaghtforward.

Understand, they can do what they want with the more obscure characters but they won’t. Then they make thunderbolts overhype that sh1t like for writing characters competently. Like characters had arcs and sh1t that were fun to follow and gave you reasons to invest emotionally. Which was refreshing.


But If I say the title AntMan: Quantumanium. without you realizing it , it just brings up a mental vomit in your head. Cause it’s not that you don’t care about anybody in that movie, they all sucked. If they had all died I would been like, ok. OK. This is interesting.

It comes down to risk and reward. Also, it speaks to his overall point. They don't value that cartoon like that, so to them - why risk themselves looking crazy for what he's doing to others if the real money is in film?

It's a shame because not only the series, but his treatment for Blade shows he does his homework. This is a clear understanding of Blade's connection to magic and how he views it.
