Verbally saying the word out of habit in a conversation amongst your peers that you're familiar with is much different than coming on an internet forum and consciously typing it amongst users that you believe to be white or non-black. You claim to be a college-educated guy. So why not act like that? If you claim to be educated, you should know better. There is no need for me to beat up on a dead horse. The news media does enough of that beating up on Trump and the Republicans for the past 8yrs. Republicans are already the villains, and they pretty much embrace their role as the political villain, especially when it comes to black social injustice. Second, African-Americans do not overwhelmingly support Republicans, so it's pretty much a waste to talk about a party that African-Americans do not vote for in large numbers to begin with.

1) I talk down on the Democrats because they pander to us every four years and pose to us as being the party that is for African-Americans. 2) We continuously vote Democrat throughout the political spectrum and still see no improvement with African-Americans as the wealth gap only gets wider, where we are further hitting the bottom and basically being a permanent underclass as a collective.



I don't have to chastise what is already known. Black people already know Republicans are wolves. We can all see their fangs from a mile away. Black people for the most part are already aware of the Republicans, including Black republicans. I think most black people know if they get close to the Republicans, they either consciously or subconsciously know to have some form of protection when dealing with those wolves. I'm not going to waste my time talking about Republicans when African-Americans already know the disclaimer around them. It's the democrats that my people are blind to that need the precaution. For black people to become political savvy, we must become aware of the Democrat that most of us lay in bed with and must encourage ourselves to learn to leverage our political power.

Every election cycle with the black vote is like a given for the Democrats, and that must change if we want to be taken serious politically. I'm saying to not vote and to at least hold your vote until these parties fight to EARN our vote, mainly Democrats. Criticizing the democrats is not an endorsement of Republicans either. It's simply a criticism of Democrats.

It's like saying men who criticize relationships with women are endorsing the alternative of homosexual relationships. It's such a huge logic leap.

It seems that you want me to talk down on Republicans. There's no need for me to talk down on Republicans. African-Americans pretty much already have a negative disposition about Republicans. And hell, even if my criticism of Democrats leads to a few black people to vote Republican, then so what? We must show these parties that we aren't a monolith. Part of leveraging our vote is letting Democrats, who hold our vote, know that they can lose some of their African-American voting base to the Republican or to any other party if they (the Democrats) do right for their black constituents. We are not here to play the lesser of two evil games any longer, which is why we are now in the underclass getting very little to nothing in return for our vote. It's not a game that is beneficial in the long run to our collective. We need to let all parties, mainly the Democrats know, that they need to fight for our vote and respect our vote when elected.

Your ancestors aren't connected to the N word. In your Jamaican household and culture, the N word is not thrown around. His most notable achievement was separating conjoined twins and made great contributions to varying techniques in brain surgery. So yes, he is among one of the brightest within the African-American community. Anyone who denies Ben's Carson's brilliance is either naive or a subscriber to anti-blackness.
