Once again, Tupac talking to white people asking for help.

Great artist but he wasn't talking to me. He was talking to White America most of the time.

These are songs and messages that spoke to me about my environment:

Edit: anybody slapping this post are not real Hip Hop fans - just Tupac fans.

You need to take each song and ask ChatGPT to breakdown the meaning of the lyrics since you weren't there to live it.

"Asking for help," you say?

Don't politicians ask us for help every four years before an election cycle? But yet we can't ask for help for those same people asking for our help?
emoji
This attitude is why African-Americans keep voting democrat and getting nothing in return. It's because we don't ask for anything for our vote. We should all be demanding that our politicians, whether black or white, should do something for African-Americans. As Americans, we should have no issue "asking for help."

It's so sh1tty that he had to be bailed out by death row...he was on such a much better path...he was smart enough to see things from a lot of angles. Some of his proposed solutions may be a bit unrealistic but it comes from the best of places...cared about poor kids from any background. Was desperately trying to get money but wasn't gonna be a slave to it and was not a friend of the rich. Only issue I've always had with this clip is the analogy of slave and master as a friend...

I know what he was trying to say, but nah...friends don't enslave friends (??)...just maybe? But yes I get his point was that no one can come from that and be successful without the help...the weak can't help the weak. In something like institutional racism, where the power structure isn't earned but given, those with good intentions and power have to aid the weak and shield them against those with power having ill intentions...

When I say "we," I am referring to African-Americans. If I'm not mistaken, you have already told everyone on this website that you are 5'4 Jamaican immigrant. This conversation is not for you.

I'm a fan of Hip Hop and what it used to be. It's my culture and a reflection of my environment.

You just a fan of Tupac and would dress up as him on Halloween. That's why you worship him and idolize the dumb sh1t he's saying in the video. Cause it's Tupac.

We two different n1ggas.

And admit you never listened to the songs I posted. You can't digest the content because you not from it.

You've always been secondhand jealous of the adoration that Tupac has received. So no, I don't believe you are of the culture. Regardless of your take on hip hop. no black man that has pride in themselves should be upset at another black man receiving their flowers. You have your own pent up insecurity that you need to deal with.

Second, your hostility is not only unnecessary but laughable. You're clearly still angry as evident by the emotional outburst you are displaying.
emoji
It's time to stop being butthurt due to how foolish I've made you look in past encounters. Grow up and stop the temper tantrum. A grown man shouldn't hold a grudge on the internet.

I speak truth. Tupac spoke to white America. That was his audience. He spoke to white America about the "black struggle".

You feel that's being emotional is just a projection. You feel it is an attack on your hero.

I gave you examples of music that spoke to blacks. Ironic that none of the music resonates with you. Yet you claim some nonsense that Tupac is beyond any type of criticism. Because he's a black man.

I understand I'm the minority. But it's OK. Here goes another one that you can't connect with....because you wasnt there and was never from here.

The black women he dedicated songs to and directly spoke to on "Keep Ya Hed Up," "Dear Mama," and "Brenda's Got A Baby" would disagree.

And you, who tried to tell me "Shook Ones" was a Tupac diss.

Yall not fans of Hip Hop. Yall just worship Tupac. Probably to fit in or some weirdo sh1t like that.

You lack knowledge kid.

[see video]

Tupac didn't even have a song in the movie Juice. Kid was an actor turned thug.

n1gga you're not Black...you're not African-American, African nothing. Nice try trying to separate Black people...it's what your kind loves to do...

The fact that you're on here pretending to be a race you're not, already exposed yourself.

Everyone already knows what it is with me...I identify as Black because that's what I am...I don't care where another Black person is from or where they live...only their mentality about unity or lack thereof matters...

And you ain't familiar, bi#ch a$s vulture a$s n1gga

Using the N word as the first word in your rebuttal and as a way to address me doesn't prove you're "black," nor does it make you blacker. *It just shows how ignorant you are of African-American culture and that you're trying to parrot my people's culture through a negative lens.* Your inauthenticity and lack of connection to African-American culture make you mimic its garbage. You don't have to portray yourself as ignorant to get your point across. You can engage as if you have sense.

I am a Pan-Africanist, but this is where the difference between authentic African-Americans and cosplay Caribbean foreigners like yourself in the USA lies. You strive excessively to blend in, leading to the creation of stereotypes and inferiority, which negatively impacts the perception of all Black people. As Pac and Kendrick have said, "You don't have to lie to kick it." Be authentic. Represent yourself, Jamaica, New York City, Brooklyn, and black people as a whole in a respectful manner.
