That was a classic case of neighbors reaching their boiling point. I've seen and read enough stories about how people end up snapping over unreserved noise complaints.

sh1t I've had problems with my recent neighbors over noise for months that only got resolved cause I pulled up respectfully and handled it myself. The women in the front office are useless smh.

I was talking with my wife about this situation tonight. I told her if we were in the situation and you just witnessed this psychopath shoot me in the back and murder our son, I would want you to get our daughter in the house and close the door. If the wife stayed out there she was going to get murdered as well. I’m going to need my wife and daughter to tell the story. No use of us all getting killed

The shooter complained to 311 about the noise and nothing was done but he obviously was planning on doing this didn’t really have to shoot the son either went back to shoot the guy a second time

I feel you. After doing 5 years in the navy and continuously seeing how cutthroat and brutal this world is...I don't understand how any man doesn't at least have a combat knife for protection.

But yeah this guy was on demon time cause he had a good case of self-defense IF he'd shot the father as the father pulled up with the scissors.

Nasty Work too many hot heads in NYC. sh1t always been like this, conflict resolution is terrible in our community. When I was younger I would argue with randos. Not anymore I get to the money and mind my business.

This is something I’ve learned even at a young age after seeing some dangerous things happen over ego and pride. Even as I grew up I seen hot headed homies get me in some deadly situations because they couldn’t just walk away. I myself after all the limited wisdom and knowledge I have gained have realized that it’s always better to walk away, if possible. Getting in fights and shootouts and dealing with the law and imprisonment is not cool. No amount of pride is worth your freedom or your life. Not all situations are the same but as a Man it’s always smart to be the one to try to diffuse situations that could effect both of your lives and your family’s lives for the future.

How many n1ggas have to get shot nationwide in a week for people to realize getting into heated arguments usually leads to death
