But the French lab ended up pulling it's study because it said it had too many flaws. The FDA conducted it's own studies and found that hcq did not treat covid19 and actually led to other health issues.

Over time, clinical trials showed hydroxychloroquine:

*Led to serious heart problems in some people.
*Did not effectively treat COVID-19.
*Did not prevent infection with the virus that causes COVID-19.
