I’d like to see Toppin start next season, and see what we can get in return for Randle. If the return isn’t great, I guess we’re stuck with him which is also okay.

Stone Age Thibs needs to be better with his rotations and managing his guys.

I wouldn’t mind load management next season for some of the players but I already know Thibs wouldn’t do that.

If Thibs can make a few adjustments, he can become an excellent coach. Not sure if he’s just too stubborn or just doesn’t want to learn from his mistakes. It has been years of this, so I guess it’s stubbornness.

Knicks fans should be proud, I didn’t expect this outcome at all. First year with this group, the chemistry isn’t totally there and they’ve managed to make it into the second round, gaining crucial experience during the process. I think it was a successful season imo.

I was totally wrong about Brunson too, I didn’t think he was this good. I thought playing alongside Luka might’ve took pressure off him as well as making the game easier for him. I was definitely wrong about him.

I still need to see RJ take that leap. Maybe next year now that the team has better chemistry, and he’s more experienced.

Not sure what’s gonna happen in FA, really interested in seeing how the team will improve for next season.

All in all, great season imo.

We can pick up any shooter. We could definitely use his passing and point forward skills and let JB play off ball more. He's a Thibs type guy and can actually guard in the paint and perimeter. What we losing in Randle's scoring We gain in defensive ability, passing and experience, especially if we let Rose go.

If they get a top 10 pick next year they don't have to give the pick to the Knicks. It reverts to a 2nd round pick.

He has a player option. He will decline it especially if traded. He will ask for more money and more yrs.

Those picks will not concede. Which is why I thought all that talk of 1st rd picks were silly. We really just have our own 1st rd picks and Dallas which could turn into a 2nd. All the GM's we did deals with were smart on protecting those picks.

The way they traded for future picks were based on the thought that these teams were going to improve. 2025 the Knicks might have 3 first round picks.
