Shyne wins House of Representatives election in Belize - page 3

I'm surprised.

I was there 2x on vacation and each time I asked the people there about Shyne it was like they wanted to spit on the ground at the mention of his name. They absolutely HATED him.

Naah..that would mean someone from the sitting party is representing the division, so that area representative will be able to go the their party (the ruling holds the purse), and tell them.. Yo, I want to build a new school for my area, I want to build a park or buy some computers or due to COVID-19 I want to give out stipends to the community for some food...etc. every holiday the government usually give out "holiday cheers" probably a little $100 or a ham, Turkey or seasonal food to their communities. If a community is not held by the ruling party, that community don't get sh1t.
