Rocking back and forth just increases the odds of ruining your back or shoulders. It's very important to do exercises correctly, especially when weights are involved.

That’s a myth & isn’t healthy, since it’s easier to gain than loose. You can build lean muscle by just adjusting your diet & workout intensity. Adjust your protein to carbohydrate ratio & you’ll be fine.

It isn't a myth, add 500 calories so you are in a calorie surplus when you are gaining, and when you are cutting, decrease 500 calories so you are in a deficit while at the same time maximizing lean muscle retention, with the majority of your calories coming from protein

When you rock and back and forth you're putting tension on your back and potentially your shoulders which can ruin your back and shoulders. Y'all need to research before exercising. That's why so many people end up with back and shoulder problems. Working out, is not just about working your muscles. It's also about keeping your back and joints safe in the process.

It’s a myth that you can’t do both, simultaneously. You can build lean muscle mass without having to bulk. I naturally maintain my lean muscular frame all year round without going into phases. The only time I “bulk” is if I accidentally fall off the wagon & start eating garbage.
