Hit boy did it for Polo Da Don.

Danja did it for Timbaland.

Unfortunately this is what unknown producers hand to go through back in the day.

At least Ye told the truth!
Why Diddy the only one that got a bad rap for it?

sh1t bag producers stealing credit for beats
emoji

Ye been admitted but as usual d1ckheads like him wanna act like it's sum big scandal when it wasn't and the producer that did the beat clearly ain't tripping about it and more than likely got paid for it and that happens all the time in the industry

When I first heard this song. For some reason I thought the beat was so good that I figured “ain’t no way did a human make this beat” lol somethin was just too intricate about the melody

Bruh, PAY THAT MAN!!!
He probably did get paid, just didn't get the production credit. But that production credit is bigger than any upfront beat fee.

Exactly and theres a reason people thought it was him other than the feature and credit

Its his sound so yes a producer bit his style and produced a great beat

Good for him

How many times Ye have to create greatness
That sh1t wasn’t close to Kanye’s style…besides a soul sample

If it was you would have heard the same Xxplosive drums he bit for every thing he did lol

Those drums were too good for Kanye

"producer" has multi meanings. doesn't mean "i made the beat" you can produce a song without making the beat
Yeah, but a lot of these n1ggas don’t even produce the song. Producing a song entails overseeing the recording, mixing, the stacking of vocals, directing the vocal overall vocal performance, etc. Most of these n1ggas email the beat & aren’t even present when it’s being recorded.

I've know he didn't since it came out.

Quite a few of the R&B cuts, especially the John Legend stuff that Lanye was credited for was also actually produced by his cousin Devo..who did the Diamonds beat

In all fairness, producing and beat making aren’t the same. I think people confuse the two as the same thing when they aren’t.

I wish there were some producers/beat makers on that can explain better for the plebs like me…
