1. Strip healthcare without offering any real alternatives.
Dismantling Obamacare has been a cornerstone of GOP policies ever since the ACA was passed, yet there isn't even a whisper or "concept of a plan" for what will replace it.

2. Push voter suppression laws like democracy is optional.
The GOP has a host of policies such as reducing voting times, restrictions on absentee and early voting, voter roll purges for arbitrary reasons without confirming the individual's desire or eligibility to remain registered, restrictions on voter registration outreach. Whether you support these or not is immaterial, the fact is that all of these policies will ultimately reduce the number of eligible voters who do in fact have the legal status required to vote.

3. Ignore gun violence while pretending it’s not a crisis.
Although not a generous characterization, as I don't think they necessarily "ignore" it, the GOP has proposed nothing to address gun violence beyond putting what would effectively amount to a military presence in schools by arming them to the teeth.

4. Attack women’s reproductive rights without a second thought.
They have attempted to ban abortion for decades.

5. Pass anti-LGBTQ+ legislation just to score political points.
They've restricted access to care for LGBTQ+ americans in multiple states.

6. Platform conspiracy theories instead of facts and evidence.
jewish space lasers, pizza gate, 2020 stolen election, hurricanes being created by weather machines.

7. Turn a blind eye to corruption and scandals in their own ranks.
Trump's numerous financial crimes.

8. Block minimum wage increases to keep people struggling.
the Minimum Wage Fairness Act was blocked by senate GOP in 2021

9. Reject any sensible police reform as if it’s unnecessary.
Perhaps the only thing that could be reasonably considered a reach.

10. Cozy up to corporations while leaving regular folks behind.

You're free to support all of these GOP policies if you want, but to say that all of the statements he made are a reach is simply not supported by the facts.
