His work means a lot to him, there's nothing wrong with that. A lot of artists are sensitive, that's part of what makes them perceptive. If they didn't care about the validation of others they probably wouldn't have sought fame, that need for external validation is what drives people like this to work hard and do promo and whatever else.

And we could all have the wrong read here and maybe he's facing significant financial pressures and he needs this project to go well. I mean he did just have a kid... I wish him luck fr
