Always hated that ending and part of the story
You're not extorting nor gunning down no cop like that anywhere in L.A. period
One of the best crime movies of all time
Especially being from Los Angeles I can never get tired of it.
That movie is an example of a legendary level acting (Denzel) with a well written and well directed film
We need more of that sh1t
u would be surprised
especially seeing that it was the Russian Mafia

^^^this
i feel like pretty much all movies nowadays are not the typa thing that i am into
zero interest in watching most movies nowadays
to me there are barely any movies nowadays that are made for MEN
Yea Cali is dead late at night. When they say last call they mean that sh1t.

Thats one of the 1st things I noticed when I was in LA. It's not a late night city at all. NYC is the exact opposite or at least it was before covid
My girl from Oakland she said sh1t stay open over there. Her lyin ass
With them early a$s football games, you know they're morning birds
dogg u slow…u know they 3 hours behind the east coast?
They just don't seem to try hard or just ain't really tryna come out on some really dope sh1t anymore
I can't sit through these movies just to sit thru em like everybody else lol
No, actually, I wouldn't because its not happening.... EVER. $10,000 says you can't find a single example of a cop getting sprayed up like that and them getting away with it
Some people theorized she was part of the crew and her lighting the cigarette was a signal that she positively identified Alonzo.
Wow. Ive watched this movie hundreds of time and never knew what they were saying. I dont even know why he still went to LAX without the money anyway. One of my earliest illustrations of karma. Got damn this sh1t is a classic
At night in LA hell yea
City falls asleep out here for sure
I heard the wiseman pulled up at the end too. Probably to off him but they wanted it to look like a happier ending
Didn't Hoyt also have a meeting with the wiseman at the end of the movie? I read somewhere that was an alternate ending
Also it had to of been obvious in the original ending that Hoyt had the money I mean why was Denzel screaming JAKE! I NEED MY MONEY!!! Lol
Clearly he took it w em lmao
Denzel changed the ending because he said he doesn’t want the bad guy to live. Or get an east death.
It doesn’t make sense because it was never supposed to be one of the true endings.
Tho I agree he had to go.
