Everyone gets married for their own reasons and benefits...there’s no one size fits all. Money is definitely a benefit to some...you have two people making money, they get married and now they’re bringing in double or triple their normal rate unless one of them is unemployed. There’s also the typical love aspect as well..it’s not unheard of for people who actually like each other to get married. My parents were married for over 30 years and rose to millionaires after combining not only their incomes, but their inheritances as well; which I get to fully benefit from. Then there’s a family structure that can be beneficial for children in the marriage. Plus, who wants to be 45 and single, or have multiple children with multiple women, all with different last names?

I also understand the negatives of marriage as well; which is why you don’t get married until you’re 10000% sure you wanna spend the rest of your life with someone, even if you have a baby together, don’t get married unless it’s for real. Relationships are great at first and people rush to marry; that’s not it. Stay together for years first.

But I mean for all you guys who deduce marriage to s3xual partners, all I can say is I’m sorry you didn’t get that out of your systems when you were young lol. Don’t expect the same results in your 40s-50s that were available in your 20s. Guys who have real life success with women throughout their lives aren’t that pressed for s3xual partners, and tend to know what they want in a partner as they age.
