But what happened here is at best, a manslaughter charge without equal but opposite force. He escalated the violence with the weapon. But it does seem premeditated. He waited in the hallway, checked the position of his strap while the door was closed, and then the wife came out to chastise him in the hallway. Like others said, he was too calm. And he knows the victim was with his family and would hold back.

Leaving your own safe dwelling, going all the way upstairs to confront your neighbor with a loaded firearm is the initial aggressor. Other states it's common and legal to carry a firearm. Not NYC.


Secondly, in the longer version of the video when the father was shirtless, he reaches for the gun for a split second but the father went back in to grab his shirt. Him still standing around waiting for the father to come out again is premeditated at that point.

This situation could have been escalating for a very long time to the point the guy just had enough. Its only so much disrespect a man can take until he snaps. I'm sure the son isn't innocent in this situation, probably was ready to jump the man if the father would have fought. RIP to the both either way but its wise to always take in consideration of the other person before you decide to play the tuff guy. Father wasn't a good role model in this situation. The other guy didn't even seem like a threat to be honest probably came to talk to them again about a situation and the father wanted stuff to go left.
