even though TI was already out, i remember that record put him on national radar and the remix video was lighting up 106 n park. they had people volunteering from the crowd to win sh1t if they could rap busta rhymes whole verse with no mistakes. record was going #1 then they had to pull it cause he stole that sh1t smh

It was probably like how the song Country Grammar was a lunatics song but they let Nelly have it. iirc, Ali even spit the verse that he wrote for it, and noted how Nelly just replaced some words

Remember how kelis got mad Beyonce used her sh1t, then come to find out, The neptunes owned the song, so they didn’t have to pay her or acknowledge her??

I believe it�s a $$ issue. Not just straight up stealing. Especially if you know u plan on making the song National and u got a businessman like JD behind it. He would know better.

That would be like robbing someone you live with in the street�.. knowing you gotta see them at dinner time

lmaooo happens far too often on all scales. Back in high school my homie was in a rap group of 4 dudes that put out a mixtape 1 of those songs popped off in the city. My homie had the best verse, no bias but when it hit the local radio stations some well known city rapper replaced my patna
