I get most of my hip-hop news from this site but once in a while I'll skim through AllHipHop.com.
And today I seen this headline
NLE Choppa: Cardi B Ain’t Getting Enough Credit How She Been Snapping!
"Over the last fifteen months, Cardi B has jumped on several singles by other artists that many listeners believe elevated the song. NLE Choppa thinks the New Yorker is still not receiving her proper flowers from the public."

I can't even front, Cardi does snap on a lot of tracks, especially the features. Her flow has come a loooong way. But since she doesn't write her own raps does she deserve credit?

At least credit for the way she delivers the raps?

I say no. What do ya'll think?

Most women in rap weren't writing their own raps anyhow so atleast it's not uncommon. Kim, Foxy, feels like Missy was one of the main ones that actually did and she probably didn't do all of it. Cardi has been killing features and atleast has different flows. I just hope everyone in this thread calling out Cardi BETTER be calling out Drake. n1gga been GARBAGE since it was exposed he has ghostwriters.

Super hard both of these verses. She snapped but the best female rapper is Young MA she needs to pull up on one of these Coi Leroy’s and wifey it so she can make her career bigger again.

There’s a lot of did she write this or didn’t she but I think her flow, content and style had always been very consistent. Her slightly lacking output I think benefits her and makes it more exciting and rare air (if you’re into her music that is) compared to Nicki who works with a lot of different people all the time.
