The left MCL injury of Bucks All-Star Khris Middleton is a Grade 2 sprain and he is expected to miss the entire second-round series vs. Celtics, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The recovery of Grade 2 MCL places a potential Conference Finals in jeopardy for him as well.

Nah I don�t see that happening at all. Celtics defense has been crazy since February, their strategy going into this one will literally be the opposite of how they guarded KD meaning they�re gonna let Giannis have the perimeter and force him to beat us with his shooting�. And even then, I think the C�s could let Giannis get 40 every night because there�s no secondary scorer to get a guaranteed 20 every night with no Middleton available

I got this being a very tough matchup even without Middleton. Giannis can keep them in games they have no business being in if you're judging the Bucks roster on paper.

I'll say C's in 7 only because Middleton is out but if he comes back games 6 or 7 I can see Milwaukee pulling through.

This will be about who wants it more and may be the most intense series all Playoffs! I expect nothing less than an absolute war and defensive battle.

This series here is legacy building for everyone involved.

I got Celtics in 5..I hope Bucks can stretch it to 6, but that defense against those role players on the Bucks will be the key to this series.. Brook/Grayson/Ibaka/Wes and crew gonna have to play lights out. I don't think they will, but you never know. Jrue gotta step it up too.

People also downplaying Lopez & Portis� importance. Their floor spacing makes it impossible for Horford/Williams/Theis to sit and form a wall on Giannis. Giannis is a better playmaker than he was years ago, he�s going to get easy assists all night .

Also Allen, Pat, Matthews, etc. sharp-shooting 3 & d players that�s going to get wide open looks all series long.

With Middleton I had Cs in 7, now? Cs in 5. Middleton is a big loss, having a 2nd shot creator and maker is important to cracking this Cs defense.
