Luka didn't have DSJ traded, DSJ wasn't good and was part of the Porzingis trade. DSJ doesn't even get minutes on the Knicks... I do think that Cuban is an a$$hole with racist ideologies.

Dallas was the best situation for him.

Good system
Good coach
Commitment to him and his growth

Luka was drafted to be a SG, but steadily took control as PG and that was a wrap for DSJ in Dallas. Obviously Luka is an elite player so it makes sense giving him total control of the team on the floor and now making management decisions. I just feel like he wasn’t going to be comfortable playing off of Booker or Fox even if he went to those teams. These Euros have been successful doing it their way their entire life and there’s a culture clash coming from guys who have been pros since 14 vs guys who have been playing AAU & loaded HS teams that resemble AAU.
