Was Soulja Slim a N.O Rap Scene Headache? Did Cash Money or No Limit have him killed?

Okay my Bx Goonz. Soulja Slim was a New Orleans favorite that was cool with Cash Money artists plus No Limit artists plus with n1ggas like Uncle Larel and whomever else.

But all of these rich N.O labels with heavy street clout couldn't save Slim from getting killed.

So who did he p1ss off and how or why these label gangstas couldn't work it out?

Was it a inside label job by 1 of the labels affiliated with his killer?

Was he just doing too much on the streets of New Orleans?

Even that studio video he had with BG; It looked like BG just woke up and didn't even want to be there while Slim seemed wide awake.

So was Slim just doing too much while being considered a possible op by others?

Word, I’ve read reports on how Slim was murdered and whatnot but I’m sure somebody on here got the facts straight!! I was 9 when Slow Motion hit and pops told me Slim was dead! My oldest brother had that Give It 2 Em Raw album so always been a fan just never knew the actually word on what happened ..

Probably refused to hand his publishing over to birdman when that hit song was ready to hit airwaves. That was a good a$s song “Slow Motion” to be honest that’s all I really know of him. OP has a good point tho. Somebody had to have signed off or “stayed out” of that decision

But after he leaves No Limit and doesn't sign with Cash Money which were basically the only 2 actual Major labels in N.O;

We don't know for sure but I think it's not that deep. When Magnolia Shorty got killed, they said Birdman had something to do with it. Same with BTY Youngn and a bunch of other dudes. People love controversies and conspiracies.

Jam Master Jay started doing more independent works on his own and gets killed.

So I don't know. But some of these cases be seeming like these dudes be green lit once they about to bounce and branch off to do their own thing.

You do dirt and dirt come back to you. Not to long after slim died they found a body in the park dumped in the water and they believe he had something to do with it. Also Slim liked to get wet and pop x and BG was on dope which explains why slim was hype and bg looked like he just woke up.

BG was a big advocate on the free Telly Hankton sh*t before BG got locked up.

The prosecutor even brought it up during court proceedings.

So if Telly did put a bag on Slims head. Then Gizzle probably knew about it but understood why it had to be done.

Baby nor Master P wanted the Slim headache and made sure to pay him for any features he was on or let him leave without owed obligations being due.

So Slim was definitely a force in the N.O rap scene.

But he also was left out the security preventions that went along with being down with No Limit or a Cash Money.

He was too independent for his own good and didn't have the financial label backing that pays n1ggas to not kill their artists.
