I’ve been saying this for 3+ years… go get Zach Lavine. He’s the guy. And NOW is the time to do it; Brunson’s on a value contract , these “picks” are losing value fast, Obi/Quickley extension eligible, etc. Beal trade (New CBA rules) also reset the trade market; which works out for us. We have the assets & contracts ( if we accept Rose’s option) to acquire Lavine while still keeping Brunson, Randle, Barrett.

In ADDITION to Lavine , we MUST acquire a stretch five that actually keep defenses honest.

Flip Robinson & another piece for Turner on Indiana . Turner brings the defense with way more offense. A deal between Turner & Robinson will be easy to match the contracts financially

I’m interested to see Randle and Barrett operate with a true stretch five center . They would have so much space to operate.. they haven’t had that in the four seasons they have played together

Only reason I hopped on today is the Beal trade


And he’ll be alright. It sucks he got injured at the time he did; before he got hurt in March he was playing his best ball of his career. The 57 point game, the Miami Heat 40+ game/GW, the double OT game in Boston, we had just beat Denver in MSG a few days prior, etc. I have no doubt in my mind he was going to kill it in the playoffs if he entered healthy . He had some great moments against Miami in the playoffs (G2/G5), but he lacked the explosion to sustain it.

Lavine is another player who is useless without the ball in his hands

Lavine should've willed the Bulls to the playoffs

During the play-in elimination game, he went 6-21 FG, 0-6 from 3's, 5 turnovers and only 15 points

His bad games are really bad

RJ Barrett ain't it! That dude has bad form on his jump shot. I don't think Beal is the answer for the Knicks, but they need to get Brunson a legit running mate at the wing position. Barrett is too inconsistent for that role.
Brunson was averaging 9 points at 22
