I think they’re a smidge different. Izzy obviously got to the top. He also has a ton of combat sports miles 130+ fights interspersed between kick boxing, boxing and MMA.

Whereas Geoff never met the “challenges” to get to the next level as a welterweight contender. He lost to a still somewhat game Wonderboy. The frustrating thing was his loss to Neal Magny. At that point, it put him in gatekeeper status and they used Neal to prop Shavkat and Garry.

This is an important fight for both Prates and Neal.
