If I recall the first time he hurt his back was early 2020 before the lockdown.
For all we know, he could be the next T-Mac or Steve Nash when it comes to his back issues. Only ones that really knows is the medical staffs for Sixers and Nets.. That is if Nets asked for those files when they did the trade
He is. I suffer from pinched nerves in the back and sciatica. It’s hard to be 100% or even close to 100%.
It’s just a coincidence
Difference is those guys went out and played, hurt back and all
This is the only dude who claimed an injury after a trade and sat out the entire year due to mystery
He hasn't played the entire year. And if his injury is that bad then he should have had surgery..so why hasn't he? What injury is so severe that its still keeping him out but doesn't require surgery?
Isaiah had a serious hip injury that required surgery. not even close to the same as Ben situation. You guys always give the worst fu#kin analogies.
Ben has back "soreness". Being "sore" isn't being "injured". Most players at this point of the season are dealing with soreness, that's the life of an athlete.
And their primes got cut short because of it... Not my place to tell a dude to come back early. If sitting out this year leads to him having a healthy 22-23 season, can't really say he made the wrong decision. I'm sure everyone commends KD for coming back early from his calf injury. But if he didn't rush back, his Achilles doesn't blow out on him. Everyone is different.
I believe Simmons is like those kids who parents push them into showbiz and they had the talent to do it, but not the desire. His folks groomed him to be a pro and their meal ticket. Moved to the states to get him on the radar for colleges, and I just think he doesn't want to do it anymore. He never seemed passionate about it in the first place.
