He's averaging 17, 10, and 2.5 before today. I expected more out of him with the lack of quality players he's playing, but the international game is a different struggle for skinny a$s players like him. Steph hasn't been himself this tournament.

He looked scared to contest brooks shot or go at him on offense. Should be on his neck every possession in the paint

As a spurs fan, wemby can be frustrating as fu#k to watch. His offensive game is a serious work in progress. In a playoff atmosphere, it would be easy to stop him right now, if you have basic size in the paint, and a strong perimeter defender on the wing.

He doesn't play the same for us that he does for France. I think we'll have better parts around him by the time we are in the playoffs than France has him to make it easier to get to his spots. Lastly, the FIBA game is so congested and physical vs the NBA being a more wide open, free flowing game where the refs call a lot more fouls. Can't wait til the Vassell and Castle backcourt gets ballin together.

But see thats the thing, the Olympics are more playoffs like. Same issues I saw last year, are what I'm seeing now. Gets moved around and knocked around like a rag doll easily, by strong defenders. He often settles for bad jumpsuits, despite not being a good jump shooter right now. Bad handle that results in turnovers damn near everytime he's tries to ball handle. Ionno, I'm just objective on what I've seen. We'll see how next year looks. It's less counting stats and more so eye test with Wemby for me.
