If I'm Shadeur I'm like,

"Cool, then let me sit out the next preseason game against Philly and let's see how Dillion Gabriel and Pickett look".

Let the world see what has been happening in practice. Let's put it all out there.

Pickett is said to be weeks away from being fully cleared. Last time I checked your best ability is your availability. How in the hell Pickett is ahead when he has barely played or practiced?

There are many ways to look at it but Shadeur has already proven what he can do on an actual game setting. Now what about Dillon?
The Steelers don't even have a QB they are an Aaron Rodger ankle tweak away from having nobody decent throwing the ball. I seen all I need to see from Kenny to no he is not that guy. The guy got 2 years

The funny thing is Deshaun Watson. So is this guy done? The browns are a joke I hope Sanders goes somewhere else sucks he might lead the browns to wins. The organization is horrible.

Sampson can ball.. But if they are that worried they should try and trade for Sean Tucker
In college yes he could ball, but limited action of him so far. Browns really don't know what they have in their rushing attack outside of Ford which is dangerous given their offensive scheme

Interested in seeing Dillon because I refuse to believe he’s better than Shedeur. All the reports I’ve seen says he’s been garbage.
I don’t want to say he’s trash without seeing him get some tick. Ocho said a couple weeks ago a Browns defense player told him Shedeur has been the best Qb in camp, given he has limited on reps. After the game that same player said Shedeur went out there and did exactly what he’s been doing in camp.

However, Dillon when healthy should be given his shot.

Nope he needs the reps and it would play into the selfish narrative they've tried to create around him. Also God forbid DG plays well now you're definitely not getting moved up. This is emotional movement. Have to be a leader and take the oath in front of you not he one of least resistance.

Nothing changes until those other dudes play. Flacco spot secured though
Flacco somehow revived his career. He was so washed looking a couple years ago

I've said it a few times in these threads. Ease him into the fold. Shedeur has the tools to be atleast above average but rushing him out due to fan pressure and pressure from his family is only gonna end in the haters being right. That is only magnified by being in Cleveland. Rushing out rookie qbs and constantly changing head coaches are the easiest ways to tell a QB will not be successful. Treat him like a project QB and let him grow into being a full time starter.

Yea but the flip side of the DG situation is he plays and looks absolutely horrible. Then it would be undeniable and flat out criminal if they kept him 4th on the depth chart. Then we'd definitely know there is a conspiracy.

I think they protecting DG to hide his sorry ass. They using this hamstring sh1t to make excuses not to put him or Pickett out there. They can prove me wrong though.

DG needs to have his trade value protected I don't think you really understand the business side of the league. Picket no matter what has experience and cache as a former first rounder he'll always have value for the next 5 years.

Only thing I'll say is
Kenny and Dillon better ball during the next preseason game. Keeping their (backup) spots while being hurt is spooky.

So you think the worst defense in the NFL Carolina has will be comparable to the SB winning defense in the eagles whom they play next ?

It isn't even purely about numbers.
It is about how smoothly the offense runs.

It looks like Dillon and Shedeur will play this week. If Dillon doesn't look noticeably better than Shedeur then it will be a problem. The Browns Org and stated that Dillon was clearly ahead of Shedeur. I just want to see it in action.

Kenny is different... now that Flacco is pretty much a lock as the starter, Kenny gotta hope he is still "worth the time". Why waste backup reps on Kenny when you have two solid rookies (assuming Dillon is solid) that need to develop? Plus, I am pretty sure Kenny is up for a new contract next year. Why invest in backup Kenny when you might have to pay him near starter money when you could invest in the Rookies for pennies on the dollar.

Anyone who think Stefanski is the issue just doesn't know ball. This man basically created the effective play action bootleg play that was so successful in minny and when chubb balled.

The plan was to get a mobile QB in Watson, and he busted. He can't make lemonade out of dog ish my guy.

Watch this starting at 2:30 if you don't believe me.

Stefanski never had a passing offensive higher than 19 ever in his career. Prime Chubb made his offense look serviceable. Last season the opposing team only needed to score 17 points to beat the Browns. How you an offensive minded coach and you can’t scheme your guys open? He’s trash

Dog ish wr corps and QB play? You don't think Jeudy got schemed open? You don't think he did work with Flacco!? I mean come on. Hasn't had anyone decent and he made jeudy look like Malik Nabers. Give him a decent QB and a couple decent wr and his offense will click. Watch when the browns cut him loose and he gets a shot to be an OC or HC somewhere else and he balls.

He had Baker, OBJ and Landry, plus Chubb and Njoku. Offensive line was consensus top 5 during that stretch and Running game was top 5 multiple years. His play action, wide zone scheme was no higher than 19. Stefanski passing game has always been below average. We going to see about this year but no I don’t think he did sh1t with Flacco. All of those defenses were bottom 3rd against the pass except the Jets, and the Jets didn’t have a QB1 that game. That run with Flacco was a combination of a top 5 defense for CLE, a sorry a$s schedule stretch, and Flacco not making mistakes. You see in the playoff game against Houston, Stefanski had Flacco throwing in 30+ times instead of leaning on the run game and defense.

Him and Berry suck at draft evaluation and basically fell a$s backwards into Sanders if he ends up being QB1 in the league. Remember, this the same group that said DTR could be a starter in the league 😂😂😂. You’ll have to forgive me if I don’t trust their ability to win games.
