He hasn't played the entire year. And if his injury is that bad then he should have had surgery..so why hasn't he? What injury is so severe that its still keeping him out but doesn't require surgery?

Ben has back "soreness". Being "sore" isn't being "injured". Most players at this point of the season are dealing with soreness, that's the life of an athlete.

I believe Ben does have a mental health issue. This happens to people all the time in the workplace. People breakdown all the time. Losing family members, losing money, housing issues, other mental situations. This dude needs to take a leave of absence to get his mind right. Sure he is not gonna get the full amount of his paycheck. Money is not gonna solve his issues anyway. Why he already got it and it ain't helping. It already seems like this off season will not be enough time off for him.

He had an Epidural mid-late March if I recall. If the Epidural doesnt work then back surgery is the next step.. That's what Dwight Howard had to do
