T.I. was actually my last favorite rapper before my ears were introduced to Soulja Boy. I think TI’s first mistake was the “No Mercy” album. Obviously, his brief stay as a guest of the government also did a little damage of its own. Musically, he rebounded a bit with his 2012 album but then TI got a little too comfortable in front of the camera and I think it kind of hurt how we perceive his music.
