Yeah because it was his call to gut the team for kd and not the owner, it's his fault because cp and ayton got hurt right? At least I'm sure he living a better life than yo bum ass, you in a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment?
That sh1t wild. It makes no logical sense to not let a chef control his own ingredients then blame him fully for a bad meal.
You left a n1gga with 2 salt packets, reguar bread, and ground beef? You was expecting 5 Guys? You're getting a prison grade burger out of that.
If I was an owner i would judge my coach and gm on 2 things:
1. Talent evaluation and development. You can't miss on Steph Curry one year and come back to miss on Gianass years later.
2. The ability to make lemonade out of lemons
Rob Pelinka just made sugar out of sh1t. You gotta give a gm credit for flipping a bad hand like dat, or taking a risk on Giannis when every other gm was snoozing
Otherwise
Talent wins every time. And no knock on Rob Pelinka, or Pat Riley, but Miami and LA will always be in the mix. Free agents will call YOU if you're the gm in either of those cities.
And you CAN'T even get to coach in the NBA without proven success on every level, or a stellar NBA career. You just have to show me you're not LOSING games with the talent you have. Just maximize their effort and wait until we get some stars (hopefully)
