The one-drop rule is an unscientific racist concept that was used to dehumanize people of African descent back in the day.

The thing about these post and views is that it disregards the fact that society will see you as black and treat you accordingly. Was Obama treated different for having a black parent? Would Trump have been viewed differently if he had one? Race is a societal issue, it’s not just about phenotypes.
