In real time most of those shots look like they’re landing. When you see ‘em in half speed you can them being parried or weaved by merely a few inches. On the surface Spence doesn’t look like anything special. In actuality there’s quite a bit of nuance to his game.

I think if Spence gets the KO, it will be around round 8 or 9.

Bud can't fight a natural Southpaw. The main advantage Bud has is switching stances but he has A LOT of flaws in the Southpaw stance.

A lot of shots don’t land too cleanly on him. He isn’t a slick defender, but he’s a responsible one by and large. His guard is active, he resets well (good spatial awareness), does a great job of using pins and frames (peep how he took away Ugas’ jab getting in close and resting his head on shoulder… smothering him while creating leverage for his own inside game).

He can move his head, but prefers to parry and hold the phone.

Watch him closely. His footwork gets sloppy and hands start falling near his hip. It's confusing to right handed fighters but that sh1t ain't gonna work on a true lefty

Bud is SIGNIFICANTLY better as a right handed fighter, but he keeps switching to confuse the opponent. That WILL NOT work on Spence

The thing that scares me about Bud is propensity to wanna abandon his discipline and fight. I had this weird feeling that the fight would play out like Hagler - Hearns (with Spence being Hagler and Bud being Hearns respectively).
