There’s not really a big fight to make besides Ilia/Islam. Maybe…possibly Alex/Aspinall IF Paotan can beat Big Ank (if it ain’t a KO then there could be a rematch request). Can you name another big fight?

I don’t like Chimeav because of his post fight speech after Usman. In English he heartfelt saying he doesn’t want kids to die in Gaza. Then in Chechen he says he would gladly go to war. Check out the post fight translation. I also didn’t like that he didn’t touch gloves with Holland. The last reason I don’t like him is because his last three fights his goal was to only wrestle and did not have any stand up whatsoever. Only thing good about him is when he said he would kill everyone and had a few ko’s vs. no namers, one good fight vs. burns

For goat mic skills i agree that its Connor but ive been watching alot of old Chael Sonnen fights and interviews. Dude got me laughing

That whole situation with Wanderlei on TUF had me in tears. The "I cant let you get close" situation

I missed out on so many great moments. I wish i became a MMA fan sooner but i was a boxing fan first and had to push through the bias
Chael is arguably the best on the mic ever.

Conor had that swag and was quick with the wit and exuded a sorta Ric Flair vibe. But when he clashed withe Mayweather the schtick got over exposed. The Khabib build up was tasteless. Then he tried to put on the humble appearance until Porier 3. Just became unlikeable.

Chael’s gimmick worked even when he was a shadow of himself in Bellator. Even if he was inspired by Superstar Billy Graham…Chael was hilarious. And he knew how to sell a fight.

I guess the lesson we take from this post. When in doubt, copy from pro wrestling. That’s why Ilia is lame. He’s copying McGregor. Whereas Conor was like Rock/Flair.

DDP, on the other hand, is the most savage ish talker. He knows how to get under peoples skin.
