Jeezy never was focused on mainstream appeal like TIP who is a true commercial rapper

JEEZY WAS ORGANIC AND ACCEPTED BY THE NON COMMERCIAL MASSES via his MIXTAPES prior to his commercial success

Just like Dipser and 50 cent was in NYC

Because Jeezy, Gucci & Boosie are all authentically them, whereas T.I is corny with bad taste. As soon as he was exposed as such (tryna do comedy etc) his popularity waned dramatically.

I don't care for numbers, but overall I always preferred T.I.'s music over Jeezy. It was by a little tho, the gap isn't wide at all.

It's interesting because Jeezy had a larger start than T.I.

T.I.'s sh1t took some time to take off. I'm Serious and Trap Muzik didn't get it's flower that they deserve when they initially dropped.

Meanwhile Jeezy 1st commercial sh1t took off to the point that his Lil J sh1t and Come Shop With Me not even considered his real first releases.

Both had up and downs, but opinions aside, T.I. had higher highs than Jeezy. Jeezy interestingly bounced back in his latter years where T.I. has struggled to do so. Fans just don't flock back to T.I. since Paper Trail. It's like this weird resistance.

You can see it in his No Mercy and Paperwork roll outs. He was kinda being ignored.
