You gotta be kidding me.
TLDR; you are wrong
You gotta be kidding me.
First of all, you're wrong on both counts here. I almost feel bad that I have to explain this to you, and how indignant you seem to be about your ignorance on this... especially since this is really a thread about Blac Chyna. In any case, let me school you real quick.
In this case, surgery would be considered a thing, and is a noun. This is why it is usually preceded with "the" or "a", as in "the surgery" or "a surgery". A "haircut" is also a noun, as in getting "a haircut". The word "cut" would be considered a verb, because it is an action, as in the sentence, "I am getting my hair cut". The word "cut" could also be a noun, as in the sentence, "I am getting a cut", which is a thing, in the colloquial sense. The word "haircut" is not a verb, it is a noun.
Secondly, "getting" is NOT an adverb. It is a verb in the present tense, describing an action that is happening currently. The word "currently" is an adverb, as are most words ending in the suffix "-ly". Adverbs are usually used to provide more information about the manner, time, place, frequency, or degree of an action or state.
Thirdly (which is another adverb), I've always aced my English classes and have also taken English with honors in college, and I write for a living. Please don't just take the word of your "OG" because your OG has clearly taught you incorrectly... with all due respect. I'm not trying to insult you, just to help you learn. However, you could have just used Google before you responded if you wanted to actually be educated on this.
By the way, Google would be considered a proper noun, as well as a verb, in the way that people use it nowadays, just FYI.
