Damn RIP to Doom, on the bright side his family could sue and at least be compensated for such horrible malpractice and negligence on their part. This is fu#king awful.

The money won't bring him back but at least it would be for his family and his remaining kid will be taken care of.

Why did I think he was born in New York this whole time
Nah, was born In Uk and came over to NY as a child. Had to keep it low so he pushed that he was from NY cause he was here illegally.

RIP man

Maaaaaan you cannot trust these meds!!! Seen do many people have reactions from them. If you wanna control blood pressure, you need to control inflammation, mental stress and make sure you hydrate. Also get enough potassium and magnesium.
lol not for Doom. Potassium would kill him. Dude had kidney failure.

ACE inhibitors are known to cause angioedema. The hospital should've been more vigilant.

RIP

I had the same issues with blood pressure the sh1t fu#ked up my kidneys until I started fruit fasting and vegetable diets would drink pure beet root juice watermelon juice for days at a time and take herbal teas it completely turned my health around all that medicine does is get you accustomed to taking it once you stop your blood pressure skyrockets it’s meant to keep you going back to the doctor and not cure you
Also false. Only certain meds do that.

musician, who had several medical conditions including kidney failure, type 2 diabetes, heart failure and hepatitis B, underwent kidney dialysis in Leeds in July 2020.

With all those problems it was only a matter of time. Suprised he was alive with all those issues goddamn
Many people live with these conditions into their 70's and 80's some longer. You probably dont recognize how many people around you are going through this and more right now.

But he also died in London- Leeds hospital is in the UK according to this article

So did he live in London? I’m confused
like i said in my post; ever since 2010 he wasn't allowed re-entry into the U.S. so yes he just lived in the U.K. after that for good. probably near Leeds given that's where the hospital was. Leeds is far away from London.

Ok...I'll take it. *pause
But let's sidebar and look at this objectively. Yes I fu#ked with Doom on a hip hop and creative level. But let's be real here. n1gga lived his life like THIS.

If this n1gga didn't have legendary bars and he was a regular n1gga hanging outside of home Depot..you would think he was a heroin addict and walk right past him.

This happens in hospitals more often then you would believe.

1- It was a teaching hospital, probably first or second year residents overseeing his health

2- I tell all African Americans to avoid ACE- inhibitor blood pressure medication ie; Lisinopril, Enalipril, ( just be weary of any medication that end in "pril")

3- most of the time when the reaction happens your lips and tongue swell up like Will Smith in that movie Hitch, but very rarely does it effect the throat.

As soon as he mentioned the throat they should of just knocked him out and tubed him immediately, because it's often a swift death from there

British health care is not free

We pay National Insurance, which proves everyone chipping in IS feasible, it's worked if not perfectly then well since the end of WW2

As for people being cavalier with their health, I believe your country has the highest rates of obesity in the Western world, the market isn't working keeping everyone fit is it?

Our top tax rate is 50%, and the UK is struggling at the moment economically, since Thatcher people won't accept super high tax over here

British health care has been responsible for a number of firsts, Google it you'll see I'm not lying

The sheer size of the NHS means that purchasing is going to be at a cheaper rate than smaller bodies, cause of the size of the orders, that's simple economics

I'd argue we dealt better with COVID over here, even after having a fu#k up of a prime minister in charge, that's thanks to the NHS

America spends more per head on healthcare than the UK, and doesn't have universal care, if I was a US citizen I'd be properly unhappy about that, like I said, more gets spent in the US on health related lawsuits than the whole NHS budget, how is that sustainable?

The NHS is NOT perfect by any means, underinvestment COVID and Brexit have stretched it pretty much to breaking point, however I'd argue still that it provides a better service for the average UK citizen than America provides for the average US citizen

American healthcare is first rate if you're rich

Unfortunately most US citizens aren't...

Going to have to agree to disagree on this one.
