First of all….. he woulda been a D1 coach if FSU wasn’t on that bullsh1t. Second…. His eyes has always been on coaching D1 but in order to get his foot in the door he had to take this route based on his situation and some of these teams weak a$s requirements. Also mike norvell winning this Szn didn’t help the wait. As much as Deion wants to help the kids he wants to help his staff as well. Whether that be getting them paid properly or in position for better opportunities. Jackson state was never going to be able to provide that. Program was in shambles before he came and he left it better than he found it and will allow some one the opportunity to come in behind him and have success. He was able to do things in a short amount of time no other HBCU coach has been able to do. Then in the midst of all that you got coaches hollering “he ain’t swac” but y’all got nerve to call him a sellout…….., y’all something else. Our people are dying for a savior so bad that sometimes they forget to save themselves. Thank this man for the light he’s brought and will continue to bring by laying the blueprint. Me personally Colorado is out of the question for me. It’s too cold and I don’t see any prominent players from the south going there. I hope this is just a rumor but if it isn’t I will respect that man’s decision and be glad for what he’s done for HBCU sports because at the end of the day…………….. he didn’t have to do that sh1t!!!!
