Bro honestly at this point story is what's killing halo. You got halo ce, halo 2,halo3, halo 4, halo 5, halo spartan assault, halo odst, halo reach, halo wars 1 + 2, about 10 novels, 3 short films, 1 full TV show sh1t, and another TV show on the way. It's like star wars now how much more fu#king story is their left?

Halo mp is free. Halo campaign will drop later also for free on gamepass. What constitutes a complete game to you. This thread has been praising battlefield a game that started with no campaign and doesn't have one for 2042, so does this mean it's not complete? No forge so halo is rushed how many shooters come with map creating tools? Are those games rushed or not complete?

It still holds weekly professional tournaments. Tournaments still generate income for the franchise. These are the people who continue to play the game for years and support it. Ill meet you halfway sure a small group would like story mode but i ganruntee you its a heavy minority. Halo, cod, fortnite, pull massive numbers on twitch not for the story. It's for competitive net play.


Halo campaign is ganna get 15 hours tops out of us to complete the game. People like me who fu#king actually play halo since day one along with the other tons of dudes I know who get it in with halo will pump hundreds maybe 2 or 3 thousand hours in mp. If it's as good as it needs to be. When ppl talk about halo in any regard its about mp never about the campaign.

Winning a GOTY on a new IP is mad pressure. But they did it again on the sequel 7 years later.
