Pretty much. Jab and body work from Errol. When ugas countered, he was catching two more body shots. Since he doesn’t have power, Errol could eat them and keep on going to the inside

I agree with this, it would be a great fight. I really don't know who would win, both of them in my opinion have been clearly the best for a while now and are very good boxers. I see so many people strongly favoring one over the other and i dont know how anyone can be so bold. Its real close
I was giving Ugas his credit this fight, he started off with great defense and very clean, clear potshots.. Spence smashed’m..

Terrence Crawford.. I watched this man ko an opponent to the body.. A spectacular punch that I had to re-watch a lot of times to see when it happened.

All of the adversity Spence has overcome to reach this point. He’s always had an issue with getting gassed in the later rounds. He said no junk food and lots of water. The difference in hiring a nutritionist..

This will be a huge fight and I’m ready bro..

There’s a reason why Errol’s opponents work rate dramatically decreases, it’s because Errol doesn’t give you enough time to get your sh1t off. He smothers your work and gets inside your chest with angles.

The only way I see Terrance winning is if he catches Spence with some hot sh1t. He’s definitely not gonna be the one to “break Spence down”

Ugas was doomed from the start because once you force him to fight moving back, he loses steam and that’s what happened.

I definitely thought the style matchup favored Spence, but since that's a given, I thought Ugas would've been looking to make a larger adjustment. I do think Spence's volume really threw him off balance a bit. After round 3 Ugas looked like he realized he would be in for an even tougher fight than he thought

Short summary..

Errol started off slow by his standards. Ugas kept his distance. Then Errol upped the tempo n closed the distance. 6th round, Errol mouthpiece fell out, Ugas rocked him while Spence was looking away. Spence regained his composure and punished Ugas for the next 4 rounds with body shots and left hooks/uppercuts. Ugas did hurt Errol to the body in the 8th I believe but the punishment continued until the fight was stopped because Ugas’ eye was swelled shut.
Once the fight ended, Spence told Bud he’s coming for his belt.

I still remember that classic Roy b hop interview where Roy said 60 40 I whip yo ass. I personally feel 65 35 is fair. Crawford is not a draw and has done nothing imo. When people put him over canelo in p4p i. Like huh who has be beat?

I gave him the first, was all down hill from there. He wanted to control distance with the jab and counter punch but EJ just smothered his a$s and punched on him. He was relentless with the work rate.

It's one of his most recent fights. Like 2 or 3 years ago, he's always switched to southpaw but you can tell he's not as dominant from his southpaw. It's not like a natural southpaw
