..and u fuccin with Roku?
I’ll just watch one of the two TVs on the wall in the office
Dat Way.
Work from home is the BEST boy. Never stepping foot an office again.
I got laid off after the company had a sh1tty 1st quarter. In hindsight if theres smoke, there’s fire. I wish I started looking for other job before my department got the ax.
I applied to about 200 jobs between frontline, mid level and director level positions for 3 months now. I’ve been thru 12 panel interviews, several up to 3 rounds, did 3 PowerPoint presentations and nothing!
What field are you in? I know a breh whose a janitor, working at wholefoods and in school. I told him I would ask around. He wants to skill up and travel as part of his gig.
There's no point in leaving a job before you potentially get laid off; at least you get severance for a bit to cushion the blow some
This is why the customer employee experience is so sh1t now.. ppl don’t keep jobs because they are good at them they keep them because it requires almost no effort to keep them. Moving up and gaining new skills breeds competition and most aren’t interested in knowing then aren’t good enough.
I think the problem is that nobody is hiring externally. Any position posted is considered and locked up due to extensive talent planning. I think there should be a law that says you can’t post a job externally unless you have exhausted internal hiring pool. That would cut down on the wasted and misleading job applications out there.
I’ve been at my current job 11 years, i :want more money for sure and i get indeed messages from recruiters promising money, but those places might actually make me work all day
I like my do nothing job for 70k a year

this is all manipulation.
people have been quiet quitting since covid so they are doing everything they can to make jobs feel like something you should fight for again.
its too late. mfs know they only have 36-48 months left at whatever they doing. nobody cares anymore.
i would urge everyone to fix your credit and learn a trade and/or learn how to make money online with ai. with these things alone, you will save yourself and your family. how?
if your credit is good, you can buy a business, possibly in a field you know or a trade you've been trained in. if its something safe, you almost cant lose.
or you can start something. thats assuming more risk but if you're operating on debt, you limit your personal losses.
everybody needs to have a way to reliably pull in at least $5k/mo outside of your job and it's never been easier. i didnt say its easy. i said its never been easier. realistically you should be shooting way higher but at a base level, if you can get to that point, you gain confidence that you can save yourself when sh1t goes down. america is dying. you're going to lose your job and it's going to get bad for 90% of americans. put yourself on the other side by taking some baby steps now.

I'm happy for you and proud of you. But do you ever get concerned about layoffs in this job climate where companies are looking for an excuses to cut high paid/easy positions such as yours?
Btw, what career-field do you work in?
I'm glad you know it's a do nothing job bc AI is about to take that sh1t over.
